Guernsey Finance Names Kevin Boscher New Board Deputy Chairman

The board of directors of Guernsey Finance, the joint industry and government initiative created to promote Guernsey's financial services sector internationally, has appointed Kevin Boscher the board's new deputy chairman.
As deputy chairman, Mr. Boscher, chief investment officer at Ravenscroft, will provide additional support to the Guernsey Finance board, which includes Paul Sykes, Kate Storey, Guernsey Deputy Steve Falla, Guernsey Finance Chief Executive Rupert Pleasant, and the board's current chairman, Guernsey Deputy Lyndon Trott.
Mr. Boscher brings more than 35 years' experience in financial services and investments to his new position. He has spent most of his career in the areas of portfolio management, fund management, asset allocation, investment strategy, fixed income, hedge funds, multi-manager investing, and absolute-return investing. He will continue in his role at investment services group Ravenscroft while holding the voluntary Guernsey Finance position.
"Kevin has had an impressive career in the area of asset management and brings with him extensive, long-term knowledge of the global marketplace," Mr. Trott said in a statement. "In order for Guernsey to maintain and develop our hard-earned reputation as an international, award-winning, and competitive financial service center of excellence, we will continue to welcome people of Kevin's caliber."
Mr. Boscher is a regular speaker at investment conferences and seminars and is a frequent commentator for CNBC, Bloomberg, and Sky. Educated at Elizabeth College, he holds the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Chartered Wealth Manager qualification and is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.
