The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) is seeking session topic suggestions for the association's 2024 Annual Conference.

The VCIA noted that successful topic submissions will address the latest issues confronting captive insurance while providing concrete takeaways. Content should include a captive insurance company owner highlighting personal experiences and real case studies, the VCIA said. The Vermont captive group also encouraged those submitting session ideas to consider creative ways to engage conference attendees.

Among the subjects the VCIA is looking for in 2024 conference session suggestions are topics for young professionals, advanced level sessions, professional development topics relevant to those in the industry, and new insurance industry technologies. The VCIA said it's also looking for facilitators skilled at energizing discussions, innovators at the cutting edge of captive industry developments, and new and diverse speakers.

Presentations cannot be sales pitches, and submissions will be reviewed by a team of captive owners and content advisers.

The VCIA said it typically receives more investment-related topics than needed, so it encouraged those suggesting investment-related topics to limit them to one or two suggestions.

To submit a session topic idea for the 2024 Vermont Captive Insurance Association Conference, complete the VCIA's online topic suggestion form.
