Ian Davis, MPA

Ian D. Davis, MPA, is the senior vice president, captive insurance relationship manager at People's United Bank, N.A. Before joining the private captive sector, Mr. Davis was the director of financial services for Vermont’s Department of Economic Development and Agency of Commerce, where he played an important role in Vermont's success as a captive domicile. Among other things, Mr. Davis played a significant role in expanding Vermont's global captive insurance presence and worked closely with Vermont's policymakers monitoring issues related to captive insurance regulation. He helped organize Vermont's first captive insurance trade mission to Mexico City. Mr. Davis also was a frequent speaker at both national and international captive insurance conferences.
