The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) has rehired veteran captive specialist Robert Rudnai, who will be responsible for the licensing and monitoring of Texas captive insurance companies, as well as advising businesses of the potential of setting up a captive.

AXA XL has appointed Anthony Dagostino to the newly created role of global chief cyber-underwriting officer, commercial lines. Based in New York, Mr. Dagostino will report to Libby Benet, AXA XL's chief underwriting officer. He brings more than 20 years of cyber-insurance experience to his new role.
Lee Covington has been named president-elect of the Reinsurance Association of America (RAA), succeeding Frank Nutter, who will retire effective December 31 after 32 years as the association's president. Mr. Covington is currently president and CEO of the Surety & Fidelity Association of America (SFAA).
