International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI), has created a COVID-19 Resource Center, bringing together a variety of information to help insurance and risk management professionals navigate the unprecedented Black Swan event that is the novel coronavirus pandemic.

As the pandemic tests the resilience of countries, economies, businesses, and societies, IRMI research analysts are examining policy provisions, monitoring state regulatory responses, and curating applicable content from IRMI's extensive library.

"The coronavirus epidemic has given rise to insurance coverage questions, regulatory actions, and risk management challenges," said Jack P. Gibson, president and CEO of IRMI. "The IRMI research analysts have been working hard to provide the industry with insightful analyses and practical information to answer the hard questions and meet the challenges head on. We are delighted to provide much of this information to the industry at no cost at this critical time."

The IRMI COVID-19 Resource Center includes free resources including expert commentary on a variety of topics including risk management and COVID-19, environmental insurance for COVID-19 and other biological hazards, COVID-19 and workers compensation, and more. Free resources also include white papers, Captive.com articles, and examination and continuing education resources.

The COVID-19 Resource Center also aggregates relevant subscription content including IRMI's Commercial Property Insurance online reference, commercial property insurance links, an examination of issues around business income losses related to the coronavirus, IRMI Workers Comp online reference, and information on COVID-19 cancellations and related bulletins from insurance regulators.

The Resource Center also provides an opportunity to subscribe to IRMI's free newsletters to keep up-to-date on risk management and insurance issues related to COVID-19 or other emerging topics.

IRMI's COVID-19 Resource Center can be found on the IRMI website.
