Tennessee Names John Dunne Assistant Director of Captive Section

The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI) has promoted John Dunne to assistant director of the department's Captive Section. 

Mr. Dunne began his tenure as a regulator in 2009 as an auditor for the Tennessee comptroller of the treasury. He moved to TDCI in 2021 as a captive analyst. 

Mr. Dunne has a strong background in insurance and auditing, having received his Certified Public Accountant license as well as his Associate of Captive Insurance and Associate Professional in Regulation designations. 

Immediately prior to being promoted to the assistant director position, Mr. Dunne was lead analyst in the TDCI's Captive Section.
