Fitch Ratings has appointed Cynthia Chan as its new global group head of insurance. She is based in Fitch's London office and reports to Marjan van der Weijden, Fitch's global group head for financial institutions. Ms. Chan succeeds Keith Buckley, who retired at the end of February 2023. Read More

Nevada has appointed Scott Kipper insurance commissioner of the Nevada Division of Insurance, effective February 27. Mr. Kipper replaces Barbara Richardson, who resigned after holding the post since March 2016. Mr. Kipper has held the insurance commissioner post twice previously, from 2008 to 2010 and from 2011 to 2015. Read More
