Olympic silver medalist and world champion Noelle Pikus Pace will deliver the keynote address at the 2026 Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) International Conference, scheduled for March 8–10 at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, California.

Ms. Pikus Pace, a 2-time world champion and 26-time World Cup medalist in the sport of skeleton, will present a keynote titled "Where You Look is Where You Go." The session will explore her journey from being ranked number one in the world to a devastating accident involving a runaway bobsled that fractured her leg and derailed her Olympic dreams. She made a historic return to competition the following season, becoming the first American woman to win the Skeleton World Championships, and she did so by the largest margin ever recorded in the sport.

A best-selling author, speaker, and mindset coach, Ms. Pikus Pace was recognized by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee for delivering the "Moment of the Games." She is currently authoring a new book titled No Excuses, centered on eliminating doubt and fear while embracing daily goal-setting and personal growth.

"Noelle's story is a powerful testament to resilience and focus. Her message reminds us that where we direct our attention truly determines where we go—both in life and in leadership," Diana Hardy, chief operating officer at RH CPAs, PLLC, said. RH CPAs is sponsoring the keynote address.

"We are excited to welcome Noelle to our 2026 conference and share her important message with our attendees," CICA president Dan Towle said. "Her story of maintaining perseverance and purpose despite the trials she faced is something our industry can incorporate to successfully navigate the future of captives."

The 2026 CICA International Conference will feature more than 30 educational sessions, participation from over 120 industry experts, student essay contest winner presentations, professional development opportunities, and networking events. Additional conference details are available on the CICA website.
