Old Republic Risk Management has entered an annual partnership with the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) to support its Amplify Women and NEXTGen initiatives. The collaboration will fund a series of networking events, seminars, and webinars designed to expand educational and career opportunities for women and young professionals in the captive insurance sector.
CICA president Daniel Towle said, "We are excited to have Old Republic Risk Management as our partner in these important initiatives. Members speak highly of the opportunities to meet and learn in a comfortable environment through these initiatives and how they have helped their career and confidence in the industry. Old Republic's financial support will help us provide even more chances for current and new members to grow."
Amplify Women, launched in 2019, promotes the advancement of women in the captive insurance industry through visibility, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. It provides avenues for female professionals to participate in panel discussions, speaking engagements, and networking events. NEXTGen, which is driven by a committee of young professionals across multiple sectors of the industry, is designed to build engagement among emerging talent through speaking opportunities, educational programs, and peer connections. Both initiatives aim to create inclusive platforms to develop the next generation of industry leadership.
Mike Posko, assistant vice president, account executive at Old Republic Risk Management and vice chair of the Amplify Women conference submission subcommittee, said, "Old Republic's decision to support these two key industry initiatives is aligned with our commitment to advancing the growth and development of future leaders in captive insurance. We recognize the importance of these initiatives both within our organization and across the industry, and we are pleased to collaborate with CICA in furthering its mission. The best is yet to come."
The partnership is expected to increase year-round engagement, providing more consistent support for professional development among CICA members.
