The North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA) has selected its officers for 2021–2022 and elected new members of the organization's board.

At the association's annual meeting in May, the NCCIA board named Matt Holycross of Taft Companies chairman for 2021–2022. Diana Hardy of RH CPAs was selected vice chair, Morgan Doughty of Atlas Insurance Management Limited was named secretary, and David Littlehale of Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) was chosen as treasurer.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to lead this dynamic association in America's fastest growing captive domicile," Mr. Holycross said in a statement. "During the year, I expect the board will concentrate on driving growth, in conjunction with NCDOI, to the state. It's a great place to do business."

NCCIA President and CEO Tom Adams described the day as bittersweet, noting that the association was "losing three great board members" in Chair Lea Riddle of McGriff, Secretary Mickey Payseur of Butler & Stowe, and Wesley Deaton of the Deaton Law Firm.

Elected to replace the three on the board were Mr. Littlehale, Rosa Garcia of Management Services International, and Nate Reznicek of International RE.

Members of the NCCIA board serve one 3-year term.

"This is an outstanding group of new board members who, while they have big shoes to fill, are up to the task," Mr. Holycross said. "I welcome them to the board."
