National Risk Retention Association Prepares for Annual Conference

The National Risk Retention Association (NRRA) is preparing for its 2022 Annual Conference November 1–3 at the Sofitel Magnificent Mile Hotel in Chicago.

The theme of this year's NRRA conference is "Envisioning a Purpose-Driven Future," with conference sessions examining such topics as the evolution of risk retention groups (RRGs), the secrets of successful RRGs, new exposures and reinsurance opportunities, cyber insurance, and non-liability products.

The conference will also explore business environment challenges for risk retention groups including avoiding runaway jury verdicts, directors and officers coverage, proactive strategies for managing capital, and the distinction between unavailability of coverage and unaffordability of coverage.

This year's NRRA conference will also include a regulators' roundtable and a government affairs update.

The NRRA has set aside a room block for the conference, but the block expires October 10.
