The National Association of Insurance Commissioners has elected Connecticut Insurance Commissioner Andrew N. Mais president for 2024.

NAIC members elected the organization's 2024 officers at the conclusion of the NAIC's Fall National Meeting earlier in December in Orlando, Florida.

Other 2024 officers include North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread, president-elect; Virginia Insurance Commissioner Scott A. White, vice president; and Rhode Island Superintendent of Financial Services Elizabeth (Beth) Kelleher Dwyer, secretary-treasurer.

The new officers will assume their duties on January 1.

NAIC members also elected 2024 zone officers during the meeting. The NAIC is organized into four geographical zones, and within each zone, three officers are elected annually by the respective zone members.

The NAIC's 2024 zone officers include the following.

  • Northeast Zone. Delaware Commissioner Trinidad Navarro, chair; Vermont Commissioner Kevin Gaffney, vice chair; Massachusetts Commissioner Gary Anderson, secretary-treasurer
  • Southeast Zone. Tennessee Commissioner Carter Lawrence, chair; Kentucky Commissioner Sharon Clark, vice chair; Arkansas Commissioner Alan McClain, secretary-treasurer
  • Midwest Zone. Michigan Director Anita G. Fox, chair; Kansas Commissioner Vicki Schmidt, vice chair; Nebraska Director Eric Dunning, secretary-treasurer
  • Western Zone. Colorado Commissioner Michael Conway, chair; Oregon Commissioner Andrew R. Stolfi, vice chair; Texas Commissioner Cassie Brown, secretary-treasurer
