Mid Rivers Risk Forum Adds Keynote, Sponsors, and Industry Partners

The inaugural Mid Rivers Risk Forum, set for September 28–30, 2025, in St. Louis, continues to take shape with a confirmed keynote speaker, expanded sponsor list, and new industry partnership.
Dr. Michel Léonard, chief economist and data scientist at the Insurance Information Institute, will deliver the keynote address on September 29. His presentation, "The State of the Industry," will explore insurance economics and risk trends through 2026. Breakout sessions following the keynote will allow attendees to engage with targeted topics.
Registration remains open for the forum, which will bring together the Midwest's risk management and captive insurance communities. Hosted at the Sheraton Westport Lakeside Chalet, the event will feature educational sessions, expert speakers, and networking opportunities aimed at advancing leadership across the risk sector.
The conference is supported by several regional partner organizations, including the St. Louis Chapter of RIMS, Greater Kansas City RIMS, Ozark Area RIMS, the Show-Me Missouri Captive Insurance Division, the Missouri Captive Insurance Association, and the Missouri Self-Insurers Association, the forum's newest partner. These groups are contributing to program development and professional outreach.
