ICCIE Announces New Award, Board Changes, and Graduate Honors

The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) has launched the Captive Education Leader Award, an annual honor recognizing an individual who has made significant contributions as a captive insurance educator. Nominees must be active or recently retired, and submissions are open to the public through October 31, 2025, via the ICCIE website. The first award will be announced in 2026.

ICCIE has also opened sales for its All Captive Conference Ticket raffle, offering one winner free admission to 15 captive industry conferences. Tickets are $100 each or three for $250, available online until December 9, 2025. Fewer than 100 tickets have sold annually in recent years, boosting entrants' odds. Participating conferences include events in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Vermont, Texas, Hawaii, and other US and international locations.

On August 12, ICCIE will welcome three new board members: Greg Cobb of Sage Advisory Services; Karen Hsi, ACI, of the University of California; and Sammi Jones, ACI, of Liberty Mutual. Departing after 6 years of service, including terms as board president, are Jason Oswald, ACI, of CIRCA and Bruce Whitmore, ACI, of Willis Towers Watson.

ICCIE has recognized 10XB Captives as its newest ICCIE Trained Organization, a designation for companies committed to high levels of employee education and training.
