CICA 2026 Conference Seeks Presentation Proposals on Risk Strategy

The Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) is accepting presentation proposals for its 2026 International Conference, scheduled for March 8–10, 2026, at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, California. This year's theme, Navigating Risk in a Changing World, invites submissions addressing emerging threats, innovative risk strategies, and professional development in the captive insurance sector.

Both CICA members and nonmembers are encouraged to submit proposals by 6 p.m. Eastern on Friday, August 22, 2025. Selected presentations will help shape the agenda of this domicile-neutral event, known for fostering forward-thinking solutions in a rapidly evolving risk environment.

CICA is particularly interested in proposals covering topics such as employee benefits, medical stop loss, claims, fronting, reinsurance, and trending captive insurance issues. Sessions focusing on leadership and professional growth are also welcome. The Program Committee urges prospective speakers to review CICA's "Tips for Successful Submissions" to ensure proposals align with the selection criteria.
