The Asian Captive Conference drew more than 300 participants September 8 to the Sime Darby Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Attendees at the event, jointly cohosted by Labuan IBFC Incorporated Sdn Bhd (Labuan IBFC Inc.) and the Labuan International Insurance Association (LIIA), included regulators, insurance professionals, investors, and professional service providers from the global captive insurance industry, as well as representatives from government agencies and the news media.

The Asian Captive Conference also saw the involvement of more than 25 sponsors and partners.

This year's Asian Captive Conference also included a discussion of captives' role in mitigating risks associated with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.
