Thanks to support from its industry sponsors, the Bermuda Captive Conference is waiving the fee for the virtual event, making it free for attendees.

Conference organizers announced earlier this year that the event, scheduled for September 9–11, would be conducted virtually due to continued uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement, conference organizers said more than 500 attendees have already committed to attend the online event, adding that the virtual format offers new opportunities for participants to engage in sessions, tap resources, participate in sponsor webinars, and engage in live networking with other attendees on a one-on-one basis and in discussion forums.

The event will provide attendees the opportunity to participate in live sessions with industry speakers, watch sessions in real-time or on-demand later, interact with sponsors in the virtual exhibit hall, and gain access to exclusive content and industry resources. The conference will take place on a Web-based platform with no downloads required.

Captive insurance company owners will have access to an exclusive Captive Owners' Lounge hosted by the Bermuda Captive Owners Association. In the lounge, captive owners can get access to resources and on-demand webinars and connect with one another privately or in discussion forums.

The agenda and full list of speakers for this year's Virtual Bermuda Captive Conference can be found here.
