VCIA Sets 2026 Conference for August 11–13, Returns to Midweek Format

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) will hold its 2026 Annual Conference from Tuesday, August 11, through Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Burlington, Vermont. The shift restores the event's traditional midweek format in response to member input.

"Our members spoke, and we listened," Ian Davis, VCIA president, said. "This change is a direct result of thoughtful feedback from our community, and it reflects our ongoing commitment to being responsive, member-driven, and intentional in everything we do."

Gail Newman, VCIA board chair, said, "Returning to the Tuesday–Thursday format honors that tradition and ensures our conference continues to meet the evolving needs of the captive community."

The VCIA Annual Conference is the largest gathering of captive insurance professionals in the US, drawing domestic and international participants for 3 days of education, networking, and collaboration. The 2026 event will continue to evolve with new programming aligned with the association's strategic goals. Mr. Davis said that VCIA will provide updates as planning advances.
