VCIA Opens Search for New President

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has announced that it is seeking a new president to lead the national, member-driven trade association.
According to the announcement, VCIA is looking for "an experienced and passionate individual with strong leadership and managerial skills to plan and execute the mission of the association, as well as build relationships with related organizations."
VCIA was established in 1985 by captive owners and managers and now represents over 400 member organizations. The association serves as a liaison between its members and key government entities, including the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation, the Vermont General Assembly, and federal agencies. It also maintains strategic relationships with other domiciles and industry associations across the country.
The president will report to the board of directors and lead a team responsible for VCIA's core functions, including finance, education, events, membership, marketing, communications, and administration. The role also involves overseeing advocacy efforts, strategic planning, member engagement, and the association's annual conference.
As noted in the announcement, "The president of VCIA serves as the public face and voice of the association and is one of the preeminent leaders in the captive insurance industry nationwide."
