Strategic Risk Solutions has appointed Sandy Bigglestone as managing director and chief governance, regulatory, and compliance officer, effective January 2026. In the newly created role, Ms. Bigglestone will lead firmwide initiatives to ensure clients implement effective governance practices and meet evolving regulatory standards across jurisdictions. She will also play a central role in SRS Titanium, a division focused on serving Fortune 500 and global organizations with complex insurance needs.

Ms. Bigglestone joins SRS following nearly 3 decades with the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation, where she most recently served as deputy commissioner of the captive insurance division. Her tenure was instrumental in positioning Vermont as a leading US domicile for captive insurance. She has also worked with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and other industry groups to advance regulation of captives and related entities.

Brady Young, founder and CEO of SRS, said, "I have watched Sandy blossom in her role in Vermont and have admired not only her technical knowledge but her grace in leadership. She will be a great fit at SRS, and our colleagues and clients will enjoy working with Sandy."

Robert Gagliardi, CEO of SRS Titanium, said, "I have known Sandy for over 20 years and have always admired her professionalism and commitment to quality. I look forward to collaborating with her to deliver exceptional value to SRS clients."

"I've known Brady, Bob, Patrick, and many others at SRS for years," Ms. Bigglestone said. "I'm delighted to join SRS and look forward to the opportunity to work with them. It is my hope that my experience in the regulatory space combined with SRS's commitment to innovation in the captive industry will yield great results for the company's clients in the US and beyond."
