SCCIA Posts Schedule for 2026 Annual Conference

The South Carolina Captive Insurance Association (SCCIA) has posted the program for its 2026 Annual Executive Educational Conference, scheduled for September 28–30 at The Mills House in Charleston, South Carolina.

The conference will begin with the Captive Academy, SCCIA Annual Meeting, and welcome reception on September 28. Educational sessions on September 29 and 30 will address South Carolina legislative and regulatory developments, captive formation and operations, employee benefits captives, financial strategies, captive ratings, artificial intelligence, risk retention groups, captive taxation, and attracting young professionals to the industry.

South Carolina Department of Insurance Director Michael Wise and Director of Captives Andy Noga will provide a regulatory update. Senator Sean Bennett and Steven Gilbert of the South Carolina Senate Banking and Insurance Committee will discuss legislative developments.

The September 29 awards and keynote luncheon will feature Jennifer Pharr Davis presenting "The Next Step: Navigating a New Adventure." The conference will conclude with an SCCIA board meeting on September 30. Additional program details may be added before the event.
