RiverStone International has completed a second loss portfolio transfer (LPT) reinsurance agreement with Pacific Valley Insurance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lyft, further expanding the companies' ongoing relationship. The transaction became effective July 1, 2026.

The agreement marks another legacy transaction between RiverStone International and Pacific Valley Insurance Company, reinforcing a relationship the companies say has continued to grow through repeat business.

"We are delighted to have the opportunity to partner once again with Pacific Valley Insurance Company and Lyft on this transaction," said Paul Brockman, group CEO of RiverStone International. "This repeat transaction reflects the depth of the relationship between our organizations and demonstrates the value of long-term partnerships in the legacy market."

"We are pleased to continue supporting Lyft's risk management and capital optimization objectives and look forward to further developing our relationship in the years ahead," Brockman said. "This transaction further strengthens our presence in North America and reinforces our commitment to providing innovative legacy solutions to clients across the region."

Guy Carpenter served as the broker of record for the transaction.
