The Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) will present a webinar on September 22, 2022, featuring captive insurance experts from Zurich North America discussing a wide range of captive issues.

Issues to be discussed at the webinar include the structures and opportunities in incorporating captive insurance approaches into contemporary risk management strategies.

"From an exploration of traditional, single-parent captives to the evolution of group captive programs allowing companies to join with others in alliances run by experienced captive managers, this presentation will provide a perspective of the opportunities, benefits, and business case of captive participation," RIMS said.

Key takeaways from the conference, RIMS said, include learning how captives are structured, captive regulatory considerations, cyber risks and captives, and the business case for captives.

Zurich North America captive experts who will be speakers at the webinar include Adriana Scherzinger, head of captive sales and execution; Dawn Hiestand, head of captives (group captives); Kay Eisenstein, captive and reinsurance manager; and Kara Higginbotham, head of national accounts, professional liability and cyber.

RIMS members can attend the conference at no cost, while the cost for non-RIMS members is $50.

Information about the conference is available on the RIMS website.
