Registration has opened for the 2026 Cayman Captive Forum (CCF), with organizers reporting that 50 percent of delegate passes were sold on the first day.
Hosted by the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC), the forum will be held December 1–3, 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. IMAC describes the event as the world's largest captive insurance conference, bringing together industry leaders, risk managers, regulators, service providers, and captive owners from around the globe.
The annual gathering has become a key event for the captive insurance sector, known for its educational programming, networking opportunities, and focus on developments affecting the global captive market.
"The exceptional response to registration reflects the continued strength of the Cayman Islands as a leading international insurance domicile and the value that industry professionals place on gathering here each year," James Trundle, chair of IMAC, said. "The [CCF] has become a cornerstone event for the global captive insurance industry, and we're looking forward to welcoming delegates from around the world for another outstanding programme."
Organizers said demand has remained strong as preparations continue for the 2026 event. The forum committee is currently developing the conference agenda and delegate experience, with additional details expected in the coming weeks.
"The level of interest we've seen from day one's registration is a testament to the forum's reputation for delivering meaningful insights, valuable connections, and discussions that help shape the future of our industry," Michael Wild, chair of the CCF Committee, said. "Our committee is working hard to develop an engaging agenda and exceptional delegate experience, and we're excited to share further details in the weeks ahead."
IMAC said information on keynote speakers and the event's run-of-show will be announced in the coming weeks. The association is encouraging prospective attendees to register early as available delegate passes continue to fill.
