Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc., has established a new subsidiary in Toronto, Ontario, marking its first international expansion as the firm seeks to strengthen its presence in the Canadian property and casualty insurance market.

The new entity, Pinnacle Actuarial Resources of Canada, Inc., is designed to enhance the firm's ability to serve insurers operating in Canada, where demand for actuarial services continues to grow. The firm already works with a number of Canadian clients, and the subsidiary is expected to deepen those relationships while expanding its reach.

"The Canadian property and casualty market continues to experience growth," Roosevelt Mosley, managing principal at Pinnacle, said. "Pinnacle's established leadership in key sectors, such as captive insurance, automobile insurance, and fairness, makes our firm uniquely well suited to serve the needs of the Canadian market. We are looking forward to providing Canadian insurers with Pinnacle's industry-leading innovations, industry expertise, and customer service."

Pinnacle's expansion reflects broader growth trends in Canada's property and casualty segment, where insurers are navigating evolving regulatory requirements, pricing challenges, and increased demand for analytical insights. By establishing a local presence, the firm aims to provide more direct support to insurers operating in the market.

"Pinnacle has a long track record of delivering outstanding services to property and casualty insurers throughout North America," Mr. Mosley said. "We're committed to remaining the preferred, independent actuarial consulting firm in all of the countries we serve."

The move positions Pinnacle to compete more directly in Canada while reinforcing its role as a cross-border actuarial consulting provider serving insurers across North America.
