Nevada Names Scott Kipper Insurance Commissioner

Nevada has appointed Scott Kipper insurance commissioner of the Nevada Division of Insurance, effective February 27. Mr. Kipper replaces Barbara Richardson, who resigned after holding the post since March 2016. Mr. Kipper has held the insurance commissioner post twice previously, from 2008 to 2010 and from 2011 to 2015. Read More

Tennessee Names Mark Wiedeman Captive Insurance Section Director

Mark Wiedeman, a veteran state regulator, has been selected by the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI) to be director of the TDCI's Captive Insurance Section.
