Montana 2024 Captive Insurance Conference Update

The Montana Captive Insurance Association (MCIA) will hold its annual captive insurance conference from June 25–27, 2024, at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake in Whitefish, Montana.
The educational program still is being finalized, but the MCIA says to expect key captive regulators, captive owners, and service providers to address educational topics.

Montana is a major captive domicile. In 2023, Montana licensed 46 captives, bringing its total captive count to 263. Montana legislators passed the captive statute in 2001.
