Marsh has made several new appointments to the leadership of Marsh Captive Solutions, including appointing Lorraine Stack, Dublin-based international consulting and sales leader, to the additional role of leader of Marsh Captive Solutions' Ireland operations.

Ms. Stack, whose new role will take effect February 1, will report to Ellen Charnley, president of Marsh Captive Solutions. In her additional role, which requires regulatory approval, Ms. Stack will be responsible for leading a team of specialists managing single-parent captives and special purpose vehicles domiciled in Dublin, in addition to leading the international consulting and business development team.

Ms. Stack has more than 25 years of insurance experience, having served in various roles of increasing responsibility at Marsh Captive Solutions. She succeeds Brian McDonagh, who is retiring from Marsh after 27 years of service.

Stuart Herbert, currently Marsh Captive Solutions Asia Pacific leader, assumed the new role of captive consulting practice leader, reporting to Ms. Stack, effective January 1. In his new role, Mr. Herbert will lead a team responsible for captive feasibility studies and strategic reviews for prospective and current captive owners.

Mr. Herbert, who has held a variety of roles within Marsh Captive Solutions since joining the organization in 1998, is relocating to the United Kingdom from Singapore. He succeeds Stephen Hawkes, who is retiring after 29 years with the company.

Nisala Weerasooriya will succeed Mr. Herbert as leader of Marsh Captive Solutions' Asia Pacific operations, which includes oversight of captive offices in Singapore, Australia, and Labuan in Malaysia. Mr. Weerasooriya has 30 years of experience in various client service roles at Marsh and currently serves as head of Marsh Captive Solutions' New York operations. He will relocate to Singapore from New York and report to William Thomas-Ferrand, leader, Marsh Captive Solutions, International.

"Throughout their careers, Lorraine, Stuart, and Nisala have demonstrated exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication in supporting our captive insurance clients," Ms. Charnley said in a statement. "In this time of unprecedented captive growth, their considerable experience will be invaluable as we seek to provide enhanced services and resources to our clients."
