Luis Delgado Joins SRS To Lead Firm's Latin American Initiative

Luis Delgado has joined Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) to lead the firm's Latin American initiative as vice president—Latin America.

Mr. Delgado, a certified public accountant and native Colombian, will be based in SRS's Bermuda office but have responsibility for developing and managing business for Latin American-owned captive insurance companies across the firm.

Mr. Delgado joins SRS from JLT Insurance Management (Bermuda) Ltd. where he was vice president—finance in charge of Latin American accounts and was a member of the executive team. Mr. Delgado also spent 2 years in Bermuda with Marsh IAS, having started his career as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Colombia.

"Captive insurance offers a lot of benefits to Latin American organizations and has been growing steadily in its use. With the changes in the commercial insurance market, the demand for captive insurance solutions and trusted advice has never been stronger in the region."
