The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) has announced its 2026 executive committee, introducing both returning and new leaders to guide the organization's strategic direction over the coming year.

James Trundle of Global Captive Management has been named chair, taking over from Kieran Mehigan. He will be joined by Michael Wild of Artex as vice chair, Adam Vanicek of Marsh as treasurer, and Joy Domingo of Willis Towers Watson as assistant secretary.

In addition to the officer appointments, IMAC unveiled the formation of a new talent development committee, signaling a commitment to workforce advancement and succession planning. Troy Matarazzo of Beecher Carlson will chair the newly established committee.

Several members will continue in their current roles on the executive committee: Gareth van den Bergh of Artex remains chair of the marketing committee; Michael Wild, also of Artex, continues as forum committee chair; Jessica Powell of Aon leads the scholarship committee; Paul Macey of USA Risk continues with the legislative and regulatory committee; Andrew MacKay of Risk Management Advisors stays on as chair of the education and social committee; Erin Brosnihan of Kensington remains secretary; and Jenny Pooley of Strategic Risk Solutions continues overseeing the IMAC office.

"It is a privilege to serve as chair of IMAC at a time of continued momentum for Cayman's insurance industry. Building on the strong foundation laid by the previous Executive Committee led by Kieran, we will remain focused on collaboration, talent development, and global engagement to support the long-term growth and success of our sector," Mr. Trundle said.

Established in 1994, IMAC represents insurance managers, captive insurance companies, and service providers in the Cayman Islands, serving as a liaison with government and regulators. Through advocacy, education, and outreach, the organization supports the jurisdiction's position as a global leader in captive insurance.
