Hylant and Butler University recently announced a project intended to bridge academia and the insurance industry. The initiative—aimed at Hylant clients, partners, and prospective customers—focuses on professional growth in the field of risk management and insurance and is designed to build opportunities for professionals to excel in the insurance industry.

The certificate program provides participants with essential knowledge for making well-informed decisions in risk management and offers the equivalent of 2 to 3 years of on-the-job experience.

Julie Straub, senior executive director of professional studies at Butler, said, "We are excited to partner with Hylant in launching this visionary certificate program. Through this collaboration, we will provide risk managers with an accelerated learning curriculum, positioning them for success while earning credits toward a degree at Butler, if interested."

The Hylant Risk Management Certificate features a curriculum designed to meet industry demands. Over 6 weeks, participants will gain insights into identifying, analyzing, evaluating, and mitigating risks in their organizations.

Bubba Berenzweig, CEO at Hylant, said, "We are excited to embark on this journey with Butler University and be the first broker to develop a customized certificate program that helps shape the future of risk management and insurance professionals. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to fostering innovation, excellence, and lifelong learning."

Participants in the program will benefit from a tailored curriculum, guidance from faculty mentors, and access to Hylant's network of industry professionals.
