The Hawaii Captive Insurance Council (HCIC) will hold its 2021 educational forum in person October 25–28 at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina.

In a statement, the HCIC said the gathering will provide an opportunity for learning and networking with captive insurance company owners, industry service providers, and others.

The preliminary agenda for the event includes numerous general sessions, a welcome reception, a captive owners appreciation dinner, and daily meeting and networking opportunities.

Like many other captive insurance industry organizations, the HCIC held its 2020 forum as a virtual event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hawaii licensed 21 new captive insurance companies in 2020, bringing the state's captive total to 242 as the year ended, making the state one of the largest US captive domiciles.

Additional information about the HCIC's 2021 educational forum can be found on the organization's website.
