The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) invites members to its Q4 Member Think Tank, taking place Thursday, November 13, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. (EST) via Zoom. This session, exclusive to VCIA members, will focus on "The Age of AI and Its Upshot for the Insurance Industry."

Two AI-focused professionals will lead the session, offering insight into how artificial intelligence is reshaping insurance operations and creating opportunities for innovation within the captive space.

Cameron MacArthur, a VCIA board member and founder and CEO of AI Insurance, will share how his platform automates policy, insured, and claims management processes, with a focus on captives and risk retention groups. Mr. MacArthur previously worked as a cognitive software engineer at IBM and began his career researching computer science and human-computer interaction at Northwestern University.

He will be joined by Jason McBride, partner at AIX Ventures, an AI-focused venture firm investing in early-stage startups. Mr. McBride brings more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of enterprise infrastructure and innovation, including roles at Microsoft and its venture arm, M12. He has served on over 20 boards and co-founded a legaltech company focused on document automation.

The Think Tank format encourages peer-to-peer discussion among VCIA members, offering a platform for information exchange, problem-solving, and dialogue around emerging developments in captive insurance.

Participation is open only to VCIA members. Registration is free and available on at the following link: Register now.
