eMaxx has established the eMaxx Reciprocal Insurance Exchange, a policyholder-owned entity domiciled in Arkansas. The exchange will operate as both a commercial property and casualty insurer and reinsurer, supporting the company's existing alternative risk platforms.

The new Reciprocal will serve members of eCaptiv, eMaxx's sponsored captive insurance company. Participation in eCaptiv requires members to also become Subscribers in the Reciprocal Insurance Exchange. The daily operations of the exchange will be managed by an independent attorney-in-fact.

Subscribers are subject to defined loss prevention and safety requirements. These include the use of cloud-based dash cameras and telematics, driver behavior monitoring technologies such as inward-facing cameras and cell phone blocking systems, and ongoing vehicle record monitoring. Participants must also implement written disciplinary policies, submit to quarterly training, and consent to sharing telematics and safety data via approved platforms.

Additional program requirements include attending a risk management summit, adopting light-duty return-to-work programs, and promptly reporting claims.

eMaxx Insurance Services, LLC, serves as both the attorney-in-fact for the Reciprocal and the sponsor of eCaptiv, a captive reinsurance company with protected cell structures. Both entities are domiciled in Arkansas and structured to support mutual benefit among participants through alternative risk transfer mechanisms.
