The Western Region Captive Insurance Conference has opened registration for its 2023 event on June 12–14 at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark in St. Louis, Missouri. The conference will provide attendees opportunities to collaborate, develop new strategies, and learn about new captive insurance industry trends.
The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) is preparing for its trade mission to Mexico City next week at Mexico City's St. Regis Hotel. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 1, with breakfast served prior to the beginning of the event at 8 a.m.
An upcoming Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) "Hot Topic Webinar" will focus on the latest regulatory issues for captives with a team of Vermont regulators. The March 29 webinar, "Intel from DFR's Emerging Captive Leadership Team," will explore the issue of what effective regulation looks like in 2023.
The Montana Captive Insurance Association will hold its annual captive insurance company conference from June 20 through June 22 at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake in Whitefish, Montana. Montana is a major captive insurance domicile, with 268 captives at the end of 2022.
The North Carolina Captive Insurance Association will hold its 2023 annual conference May 7–10 in Asheville, North Carolina. The event will feature a wide range of sessions and speakers addressing such topics as captive insurance fundamentals, captive operations, and the attractions of the North Carolina domicile.
