CIC Services Hires Tyler Lamb for Sales and Underwriting Role

CIC Services has hired Tyler Lamb as manager of sales operations and underwriting, adding an insurance professional with nearly 18 years of industry experience to the captive insurance management firm.

Mr. Lamb joins CIC Services after serving as a senior underwriter with NSM Insurance Group. His responsibilities included supporting American Collectors, assessing individual risks, assigning risk values, formulating rates within underwriting guidelines, and managing loss ratios.

His insurance career also includes experience in sales, training, and claims. Before joining NSM, Mr. Lamb worked as an insurance agent and trainer with AAA The Auto Club Group. He previously held roles in claims adjusting and insurance agency sales management with GEICO.

"Tyler stood out because he brings experience across so many areas of the insurance business, from underwriting and risk assessment to sales, claims, and training," Bryan Ridgway, principal and chief operating officer of CIC Services, said. "That combination gives him a strong understanding of how the pieces fit together, and it makes him particularly well suited for a role that connects our sales operations and underwriting functions. We're excited to have him on the team."

As manager of sales operations and underwriting, Mr. Lamb will support CIC Services' underwriting activities, risk evaluation, and coordination between the company's sales and underwriting functions. His experience in both areas will support CIC Services as it continues to grow and serve business owners seeking greater control over their insurance programs.

Mr. Lamb is entering his 18th year in the insurance industry. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from East Tennessee State University and holds property, casualty, life, health, and surplus lines insurance licenses.
