The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) has named Chris Norton and Eric O'Neill as the opening and closing keynote speakers for the 2026 Cayman Captive Forum, scheduled for December 1–3 at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.

Mr. Norton, an author, high-performance coach, and speaker, will open the forum Wednesday morning. His presentation will draw on his experience recovering from a severe spinal cord injury he sustained while playing college football at age 18.

After the injury, Mr. Norton was given a 3 percent chance of ever moving below his neck again. He later walked across the stage at his college graduation and down the aisle at his wedding, moments that reached more than 400 million people worldwide. His recovery is featured in the documentary 7 Yards: The Chris Norton Story. Norton now speaks about resilience, navigating adversity, and adapting to change.

Mr. O'Neill, a cybersecurity expert, former FBI counterintelligence operative, attorney, and bestselling author, will deliver the closing keynote Thursday morning.

Mr. O'Neill is known for his undercover role in the investigation that resulted in the arrest of Robert Hanssen, one of the most damaging spies in US history. The investigation was later portrayed in the film Breach. Mr. O'Neill now draws on his intelligence and cybersecurity experience to address emerging cyber threats, risks enabled by artificial intelligence, and practical measures organizations can take to protect information and reputations.

"We're delighted to welcome Chris and Eric as this year's keynote speakers," Michael Wild, chair of the Cayman Captive Forum Committee, said. "Their experiences are very different, but both bring powerful perspectives on navigating risk, responding to challenges, and adapting in an increasingly complex world. We're hoping that their stories and insights will resonate well with the delegates at this year's forum."

Registration remains open for the Cayman Captive Forum, which IMAC describes as the world's largest captive insurance conference. The event is expected to attract more than 1,500 attendees for 3 days of educational and networking opportunities. Additional information, including sponsorship opportunities, is available on the Cayman Captive Forum website.
