The 2026 Bermuda Captive Conference will convene June 1–3 in Hamilton, bringing together captive owners, risk managers, regulators, and global service providers as market participants navigate shifting capital conditions, regulatory change, and complex global risks.

Organizers said early interest in the annual event is strong, with official hotel room blocks in Hamilton filling quickly. Additional local hotels remain available near the venue, though availability across the island may tighten as the conference approaches. Early bird registration remains open for a limited time.

A central feature of this year's program is a half-day forum reserved exclusively for captive owners. Structured as a closed-door session, the forum is intended to facilitate confidential, peer-to-peer dialogue outside the broader conference setting.

One discussion, "Choosing Your Captive Home: The Captive Domicile Landscape," will examine leading jurisdictions and the factors that differentiate them. Panelists will address regulatory strength, market maturity, service infrastructure, long-term stability, and how domiciles support evolving lines of business and emerging opportunities. The session aims to provide a data-informed perspective for owners evaluating domicile strategy.

Helen Souza, consulting executive director of the Bermuda Captive Network, said, "The dedicated forum reflects the conference's continued commitment to owner-led value. Captive owners are navigating increasingly strategic decisions in a complex global environment.

"Creating a space exclusively for owners allows for candid, peer-to-peer dialogue around domicile considerations, regulatory evolution, and long-term resilience. It is important that these conversations take place in a trusted setting where experience can be shared openly."

Organizers said the agenda was developed in collaboration with the Captive Owners Advisory Board to address issues facing owners as captive strategies evolve and the need for trusted peer exchange grows.

Beyond the owners-only session, the broader conference program will examine forces shaping global risk and insurance markets, underscoring Bermuda's position as a captive domicile and center of capital and regulatory expertise.
