Aon Appoints Roman Romeo as Bermuda CEO

Aon has named Roman Romeo as the new CEO of its Reinsurance Solutions Bermuda unit, effective April 1, 2024. Tony Fox, the current CEO and chairman of Reinsurance Solutions Bermuda, will retain his position as chairman.

Based in Bermuda and reporting to Mr. Fox, Mr. Romeo will lead Aon's Bermuda reinsurance operations. His role involves fostering a collaborative environment that leverages the expertise of Aon's global network. With over 23 years of industry experience, Mr. Romeo joined Aon in 2022. His background includes 6 years at (re)insurer Axis Capital, where he served as president and head of property of Axis Specialty Limited. He also spent 8 years at reinsurer PartnerRe, holding the position of senior underwriter, Property Catastrophe.
