Rebecca Hale has joined captive management and consulting service provider Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) as regional manager—mid-Atlantic. She will be responsible for captive management operations in the District of Columbia, Delaware, and New Jersey.

Ms. Hale joins SRS from Willis Towers Watson, where she was a senior account executive. She also spent 17 years at Marsh Management Services in Vermont.

Ms. Hale will be working with Melissa Hancock in transitioning into the regional manager role and assuming various client and leadership roles for SRS.

"I have always had a lot of respect for SRS as a strong independent manager, and I'm excited to be joining the team," Ms. Hale said in a statement. "I am looking forward to managing SRS's mid-Atlantic clients and further developing the firm's presence in the region."

Melissa Hancock, a director of operations and compliance for SRS East, who has overseen the firm's operations in the Mid-Atlantic region, will be assuming the role of managing director of Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS Europe) Ltd effective October 1, 2020, with a view toward relocating to the company's Malta office.

In her new role, Ms. Hancock will oversee the firm's captive management operations in Europe, including its pan-European branch offices, working alongside Derek Bridgeman, who has responsibility for the firm's risk consulting practice in Europe. Ms. Hancock, who recently joined the board of SRS Europe, will remain an active team member for certain SRS East clients.

"I am excited to take on this challenge and bring my experience with SRS in the United States to our European business," Ms. Hancock said in the statement. "I have been getting to know our team in Europe and spent time to understand the captive management environment. We believe there are tremendous opportunities for SRS to expand within the European domiciles."

"These personnel changes add strength to both businesses," Brady Young, president and CEO of Strategic Risk Solutions, said in the statement. "Melissa's experience and knowledge of SRS will be invaluable to our European business as we expand our base of captive management clients. Rebecca brings new energy and opportunities to grow our mid-Atlantic business."
