George Belokas, FCAS, MAAA, is president of GPW and Associates, where he specializes in actuarial pricing and reserving with a particular focus on captive insurance and service contract programs. Since beginning his actuarial career in 2006, he has developed extensive expertise in helping organizations evaluate risk financing strategies and insurance program performance.
A Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), Mr. Belokas holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Arizona State University. He is also an active leader within the captive insurance and actuarial communities, serving as president of the Arizona Captive Insurance Association, chair of the Captive Committee for the Self-Insurance Institute of America, and a member of Arizona State University's Actuarial Science Advisory Board. In addition, he leads the Future Leaders Team within the Casualty Actuarial Society's Leadership Development Working Group.
