In January 2023, Mr. Denman was named managing director of transportation and logistics for Hylant and helps internal and external stakeholders in this sector. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with nearly 20 years focused on property-casualty insurance. Historically, he has worked with clients across several sectors but is a recognized specialist in transportation and logistics.
Mr. Denman uses a variety of resources to protect a company's assets through the proper set-up of the organizational structure, safety culture, fleet maintenance, and insurance program design. He provides a wide range of risk financing options to clients of all sizes and revenues, including guaranteed cost and large-deductible programs as well as captive insurance solutions.
Mr. Denman earned his bachelor of science degree in business administration with a focus in finance from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He currently holds an industry designation as a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) from the National Underwriter Company, and he earned the Transportation Risk and Insurance Professional (TRIP®) certification from International Risk Management, Inc. (IRMI).
Mr. Denman is a member of the Ohio Trucking Association, the Toledo Trucking Association, and Indiana Motor Truck Association. He has served on the Executive Committee for Leadership Toledo and started a nonprofit organization to raise money and awareness for other cancer support organizations, such as The V Foundation. He has also served on the Toledo Classic Board which raises money for children's charities throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. He was the winner of the 20 Under 40 Leadership Award in 2014 for Northwest Ohio.
