Mr. Griffith is senior vice president of captive management at Risk Management Advisors. With nearly 2 decades of experience in tax, accounting, and captive insurance management, Mr. Griffith specializes in helping businesses manage risk through alternative insurance structures.
Mr. Griffith manages both 831(b) and 831(a) captives, including medical stop-loss programs, and serves as a trusted liaison between clients, brokers, regulators, and insurers. He oversees regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and strategic business planning for captive insurance programs.
Before joining Risk Management Advisors in 2019, Mr. Griffith served as senior captive manager at Artex Risk Solutions, where he developed expertise in captive insurance operations and regulatory requirements. His career foundation includes significant tax and accounting roles at BeachFleischman PC, Avnet, Grant Thornton LLP, and KPMG, where he specialized in corporate tax planning, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Griffith holds a bachelor of science in public administration with a focus on finance and accounting from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Business. He resides in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his wife and two young children.
