Peter Carter To Run WTW Global Captive Practice

Willis Towers Watson (WTW) recently appointed Peter Carter to run its global captive practice. Based in London, Mr. Carter will be part of the risk and analytics leadership team reporting to John Merkovsky, head of risk and analytics.

"Peter brings tremendous expertise to the leadership of our global captive practice," said Mr. Merkovsky. "His finance background, coupled with his in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, will provide strong value to our clients and to the team. We're confident that under Peter's leadership, we will continue to build on the strong position we have in the captive space and grow the business accordingly."

Previously, Mr. Carter served as finance director for the Willis Towers Watson investment, risk, and reinsurance segment. Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson, Mr. Carter worked at HSBC as the regional head of business finance, retail banking, and wealth management Europe.
