Marsh has appointed Ian Drillot to lead Marsh Captive Solutions in Guernsey. The organization's Guernsey office, present on the island since 1975, currently provides captive insurance and risk advisory services on a worldwide basis.

As head of office, Mr. Drillot will oversee the continued development and expansion of Marsh's Captive Solutions capabilities in Guernsey.

"Guernsey has a long-standing reputation as one of the world's leading captive domiciles and is renowned for its innovative approach to captive insurance. As an islander, I'm particularly proud to have the opportunity to develop Marsh's operations and contribute towards local growth and employment," said Mr. Drillot.

He previously headed JLT's captive office in Guernsey beginning in 2014 after starting his career as an accountant with Deloitte.

Will Thomas-Ferrand, international practice leader with Marsh Captive Solutions, said, "Ian has extensive experience in managing and developing captive insurance programs that help protect our clients from the increasingly complex risks they now face. Under his leadership, he will make sure that our Guernsey operations deliver the services and solutions that captive clients require to continue to be successful."

Mr. Drillot takes over for Stephen Hawkes, who will return to the United Kingdom to develop Marsh's international captive solutions. Both Mr. Drillot and Mr. Hawkes will report to Mr. Thomas-Ferrand.
