Mr. Dougherty is a captive producer at Atlas Insurance Management. He previously worked as a business development specialist for National Interstate Insurance Company in Richfield, Ohio.
Mr. Dougherty began his career as a marketing analyst for an information technology consulting firm. At National Interstate Insurance, Mr. Dougherty specialized in the trucking industry to further grow National Interstate's presence in the trucking space. In his previous role, Mr. Dougherty worked on building group captive programs while educating agents and trucking companies across the country. For promising insureds, he was successful in structuring and building creative risk financing solutions that fit the specific needs of those insureds.
As a captive producer, he is responsible for business development by cultivating relationships with agents, consultants, insurers, and insureds while also educating companies on the benefits of captives.
Mr. Dougherty graduated from Mercyhurst University in May 2014 with a bachelor of arts degree in finance.
