JLT Re's Latest Hires Include 2 Appointments to JLT Fac

In JLT Re's continued efforts to expand its global reach, JLT Fac has added two new senior executives in London and the United Sates. The hires include Nikki Melbourne in London and Joe Vitale in the United States.

In London, Nikki Melbourne joins the firm as partner. She joins from RSA, where she is a senior underwriter, and, previous to this, she was underwriting at Allianz and Mapfre Global Risks. Ms. Melbourne will be a senior producer for development of UK, European, and Latin America regional facultative business.

Joe Vitale joins JLT Fac as head of casualty based in the New York office. He will also be responsible for leading further expansion in the region. Mr. Vitale has over 20 years' experience in the industry, most recently as senior vice president at Guy Carpenter and, prior to that, senior vice president at Benfield, heading up global facultative and casualty facultative business. He is expected to join JLT Fac in August, subject to contractual obligations.
