Program Content:

The last few years have seen significant changes in the approach undertaken by international insurers to enterprise risk management (ERM), at least partly driven by the implementation of Solvency II in Europe, which took effect on Jan. 1, 2016.

This webinar will present international trends in ERM, as well as changes in insurance regulation more widely, in order to explain the impact these have had on insurers’ approaches to ERM and enable U.S. firms to understand how these developments compare to practices within their firms.

As a result of participating in this event, you should be able to:

  • Describe the similarities and differences between ERM practices in the U.S. and globally
  • Explain recent international regulatory developments and the impact these could have on the insurance industry and your organization
  • Recognize the latest European trends in operational risk capital modeling for insurers
