The 40th annual IRMI Construction Risk Conference (CRC) is going virtual! Registration is now open for IRMI [Virtual] CRC, to be held October 19–20, 2020. Attendees will have access to 2 days of livestreamed sessions focused exclusively on risk management challenges faced by construction companies and the various ways of properly addressing these challenges.

"The health and safety of our attendees are our top priority," said IRMI President and CEO Jack P. Gibson. "Holding CRC as a virtual event will allow more risk managers and insurance professionals to attend without having to navigate the continuing uncertainty around COVID-19."

The online event also offers benefits unique to the virtual format, including on-demand access for 6 months, virtual networking, Q&A sessions, and in-event chat rooms. In addition, professionals who hold the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS®) certification can fulfill their continuing education requirements by attending CRC Virtual.

"This year's lineup of terrific speakers will provide actionable advice about the biggest issues confronting all construction risk professionals," said Mr. Gibson. "We'll be addressing the hard insurance market, lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, and protecting against cyber risks—just to name a few. Through CRC and our CRIS certification, IRMI is committed to providing the educational resources needed to appropriately and successfully respond to these issues."

For 40 years, CRC has been the standard for conferences focused on construction risk, with IRMI being the leading voice in keeping construction professionals apprised of risks and explaining coverage lines and ways to proactively take part in risk financing.

Each year, the highly anticipated CRC brings together thousands of leading project owners, general contractors, subcontractors, developers, insurers, and insurance agents and brokers for networking and educational sessions pertaining to construction risk and insurance, as well as risk management programs specific to the industry.
