Don Yaeger will be the keynote speaker for the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) 2020 International Conference, "Building on the Best," March 8–10, at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa, Rancho Mirage, California.

Mr. Yaeger will speak about "Building on the Best: What We Can Learn from Great Teams," based on his time as an award-winning keynote speaker, business leadership coach, 11-time New York Times best-selling author and veteran associate editor for Sports Illustrated. He has built a career as one of North America's most provocative thought leaders. Mr. Yaeger helps organizations build a culture of greatness by studying great teams in sports and discerning the business lessons we can learn from them.

"Great teams have powerful stories. Don is an engaging storyteller who helps you understand how to build a culture of greatness, which is in perfect alignment with our conference theme of Building on the Best," CICA President Dan Towle said.

Leon Rives II, managing partner at Rives & Associates, LLP, and sponsor of CICA's keynote, is enthusiastic about Yaeger. "I have gained many insights over my two decades in the accounting industry and I am focused on paying it forward to future leaders. Don Yeager's message about great teams will give us all valuable insights into building a culture of greatness," Mr. Rives said.

The 2020 CICA International Conference offers 30 education sessions, new round tables for captive owners, speed networking with young professionals, strategies for future women leaders, and other new formats. CICA's domicile-neutral environment brings together captive owners, potential captive owners, captive managers, risk managers, domicile regulators, and captive industry service providers.
